Serial number 560 is probably the best and smoothest running 2709
I have seen in the last 15 years. This is a beauty. The camera has
the wider 170 degree shutter and the auto dissolve/fade mechanism
is in perfect working order. While you are cranking the camera you
throw the lever on the rear of the camera marked 'IN/OUT' to the OUT
position and hold it and the camera automatically fades the shutter
down to zero degrees in just four feet of film. You can crank backwards
the same 4 feet and then hold the lever to the IN position and start
cranking and the shutter fades open in four feet of film. This way
you get an overlapping dissolve from one scene to the next, in camera.
