It cranks easily and fluidly. It has the rare single frame gearing
where you place the crank in the rear of the camera. I knew this existed
but I have never personally seen this option before. One really unusual
thing about this motion picture camera is that the original domed
glass lens over the footage gage still there. On almost every Debrie
camera I have ever seen this glass has been broken and replaced with
a flat plastic window. The black light trap eyepiece is there, in
amazing condition too. The frame punch is here and works like the
day it came from the factory. It is the round metal ring between the
1:1 crank shaft and the black light trap eye piece.
