and gearhead available for this camera.
The Ernemann camera factory made great
German cameras for many years. The factory was in Dresden and was
untouched until the fire bombing of Dresden in February 1945. The
factory, and in fact the entire city were burned in a huge firestorm.
More civilians died in the firestorm of Dresden than died in Hiroshima.
The bombing of Dresden isn't as famous as Hiroshima because the deaths
were caused by conventional bombing that came from over a thousand
bombers. All the tooling and records for Ernemann cameras were lost
during the fire.
