The Ernemann Camera Room
circa 1919
Price on Request

It really is a treat to look at and to touch. There is a wooden tripod and gearhead available for this camera.

The Ernemann camera factory made great German cameras for many years. The factory was in Dresden and was untouched until the fire bombing of Dresden in February 1945. The factory, and in fact the entire city were burned in a huge firestorm. More civilians died in the firestorm of Dresden than died in Hiroshima. The bombing of Dresden isn't as famous as Hiroshima because the deaths were caused by conventional bombing that came from over a thousand bombers. All the tooling and records for Ernemann cameras were lost during the fire.
