The panels on both doors are beyond "book matched". The master woodworker that built this camera made them parqueted. Parqueting would assure an even expansion and contraction of the wood in the doors and help relieve stress cracking, a problem most cameras from this period had to fight. They were very succesful with this camera as it has no cracks in the wood anywhere.
