This camera is a head turner. The brass on the camera has the look of an ancient Greek bronze statue. The wood has a character all it's own. There is some artful staining of the wood where it came in contact with the brass door hinges. It looks like a real "Seasoned Veteran". I get a feeling of "ancient Marine chest" from the look of this camera.
